| Biography
Ellen is dedicated to meeting the needs of first-time, single and family buyers who are exploring upscale properties, and empty nesters and retirees searching for more manageable housing, as well as transferees and investors.
“Before settling in Villanova,” says Ellen, “I lived all over the States and also traveled in Europe. I know firsthand how difficult moving can be, and my primary goal is to make your transaction as stress-free as it is rewarding. You can be sure I will always strive to exceed your expectations, because I want clients for life, not just sales for today.”
After a tour of duty in the US Air Force, Ellen received her degree in graphic design with an emphasis on architectural rendering. Before she chose real estate as a career, Ellen was a business owner, carpenter, and travel agent. She also has extensive experience as a contract negotiator. “With so much at stake, both emotionally and financially,” Ellen states, “you cannot afford to risk the outcome by trying to buy or sell on your own. I'll get you through the maze of negotiations, inspections, disclosures, contingencies, financing, title work and escrow to ensure the success of your transaction.”
Ellen is active in her children’s schools in Radnor Township and is proud to be on the Diversity Task Force. In her leisure, she enjoys gardening, renovating her 100-year-old home, and spending time with her family.

My hubby and me in San Miniato, Italy
Sam and I toured Rome and the Toscano region of Italy over Thanksgiving 2005. Words cannot convey how beautiful and romantic it is there.

The Caggiula Castle
We love our little castle. Designed by Theophilus Chandler and completed in 1911, it was the gate house to a mansion that was destroyed by fire long ago. The house next to us was originally the carriage house and the house next to that was the barn.

The Courtyard project #1
This is our neighbor, Woody, helping us tear off the old garage roof in November 2003.
The Courtyard project #2
We kept the openings where the old garage windows were, then stuccoed the walls and put bricks on top. We actually hired an outside contractor to build forms and pour a concrete stairway from the courtyard to the upper "terrace." Then I dug and dug and dug the big hole for the pond. My strong hubby carried in the rocks for me. Our first shingdig was for Hannah's 15th birthday.
The Courtyard Project #3
We finished the extension to the brick floor and added the pergola this year. My father helped me start the wiring while visiting us for Thanksgiving in 2006.
The Courtyard project #4
The fish have made it through 2 winters now. The plants are well-established and thriving. Our next phase is to make a smooth transition between the courtyard and the driveway. Sam really likes working with rocks so he is building something special. I'm still working on the wiring design.
Gabriel
Gabriel was 2 years old when we adopted him from the Montgomery County SPCA in 2004. He is a Maine Coon cat and very goofy.
Misty
Misty was 5 years old when we adopted her in 2001. She is a typical aloof Calico/Torti that just tolerates Gabriel being in her house.
