| We have bought two houses and sold one with Ellen's help, and all stages of these transactions have gone very smoothly. She was patient with us as we refined what we were looking for and ended up going in an entirely different direction from what we had originally told her. She's got a great eye for the mechanics of a home and what's easy to replace or change and what projects will probably be very expensive bears that you don't want to touch. Her closings are clean and she always made us feel we were her most valuable clients. | Anybody who happens to work with Ellen is truly a lucky person. This lady not only knows exactly what to look for and what to watch out for in a property, she’s also just a fun person to share the experience with. Having been in charge of maintenance of aircraft in the US Air Force, remodeling her own house (it's a seriously amazing place!), and growing up with an electrical contractor as a father, Ellen has a great understanding of the inner workings of a house. She notices all kinds of details about potential problems, etc. that I would have never seen in a million years.

We lived in a 120-yr old carriage house and decided to look for a larger, newer home in a development as part of Melissa’s job relocation upon the completion of her Wharton MBA.
We started working with Ellen in April 2003 as our selling agent. We were unsure about how a house as eclectic as ours would sell. Ellen accepted the challenge and exceeded our expectations every step of the way. There are so many ways in which she made us feel as though we were her most important clients. She also prepared cookies and lemonade to serve on the stone patio as a way to highlight how well the home can be used for entertaining. And of course, we cannot forget to mention the beautiful flowers she bought for each room in the house and how thankful we were for her attention to detail when she asked us to clean the closets!
Ellen did such an amazing job that we sold the house in 2 days after receiving multiple offers. This was much faster than we had planned and we needed to accelerate our house hunting efforts. There are very few people that I have met professionally who compel me enough to refer them to my family and close friends. Ellen Caggiula is definitely one of those few and I have done so several times.
I am a young, single professional who began a search for my first home purchase by calling the closest real estate office. It was my good fortune that Ellen Caggiula answered the phone. She really listened to what I wanted and stayed within my guidelines. Even though I could afford to spend more on a home, it was important to me that I stay within a certain limit. Ellen worked hard to find the type of home I wanted, in the area that I wanted, at the price that I wanted, and by my specific time deadline as my lease was up.
My job is very time consuming so I appreciate anything that will streamline a process.
